It happens as a result of friction and abrasion from regular wear and washing, causing fibers to loosen and form small balls or pills on the surface of the fabric. Bamboo clothing is especially prone to pilling as it is a delicate fabric. Proper care can help reduce its impact and extend the life of your bamboo clothing.

Bamboo that frequently rubs against rough surfaces, such as carpets and non-bamboo clothing and fabrics, is more likely to pill due to increased friction. Try to avoid rough surfaces whenever possible.

Improper washing and drying methods can contribute to pilling as well. Using hot water, harsh detergents, too much detergent, and high-temperature drying can cause the fibers to weaken and pill more easily.

Pilling does not affect the functionality of our items. Our policy does not cover replacement or refund of items due to pilling, as it is a natural occurrence of bamboo fibers.
